We have already purchased 3 2-day park hopper tickets that we were going to use in January but had to cancel. We are now trying to plan our trip for October but I'm not sure how to attach those tickets to a particular day.

Hey there, hi there, Shauna! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. I would say I'm sorry to hear you had to cancel your upcoming trip, but it looks like you've decided to visit sooner! I say that's a reason to celebrate!

The first order of business to get you set up to move your trip to Disneyland Resort up is to cancel and rebook your theme park ticket reservations. I would say if you purchased those tickets through the Disneyland website, you would have made reservations during the process, however, reservations are only available 120 days out, so January 2023 dates are not yet available. Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Packages aren't available for 2023 yet either, so I am a little stumped on what tickets you may have. This leads me to believe you either purchased tickets through Disneyland and just made placeholder reservations to check out or you purchased the tickets elsewhere. With all that being said, I'm here to do my best to walk you through the steps to get those reservations changed or booked.

To start you need to have a Disney account and link these tickets to that account. So the first order of business is to create or log in to your Disney account on the Disneyland website. Then hover over "My Disneyland" and click on "Link Tickets". You will use the Ticket ID numbers that are on your Park Hopper tickets here to link each ticket to your account.

Once you have them linked you will then hover over "My Disneyland" again and click "Ticket and Reservation Details". From there you will click through the appropriate links to make theme park reservations for your tickets. You will pick the dates, as well as what park you will want to start at each day. After 1:00 p.m., you will be able to park hop to the other park. If you already had reservations attached to these tickets, you will need to click to view your theme park reservations and then under upcoming reservations, cancel the reservations. Once you've canceled, you can book your new dates.

You can do all of this through the Disneyland app as well if that is easier for you. You would find "Make a Park Reservation" in the main menu when clicking on the "+" at the bottom of the screen.

Shauna, thanks again for stopping by planDisney. I hope you have a spooktacular time visiting in October!
