    Hi, I've already purchased a 14 day Magic Ticket. I would like to add Genie + but the app says it isn't available in advance for my ticket? It does seem to be available for new purchases of the 14 days Magic Ticket so how do i add it?

    Hi there, Helen! Welcome to planDisney, where we love helping our fellow Guests plan their magical Disney vacations. 

    Whoa boy! Spending 14 days at the Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a dream come true to me. And your trip is fast approaching, too! Before you know it, you'll be hanging out with your favorite Disney pals, enjoying the Floridian Springtime, and experiencing everything that the 50th anniversary celebration has to offer. Don't miss out on the two brand-new nighttime spectaculars, Disney Enchantment and Harmonious! You can find them at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, respectively.

    Helen, you don't need to worry about a thing, because Disney Genie+ isn't going anywhere! Why don't you come with me on a magic carpet ride so I can explain how it works? Since you've already purchased your theme park tickets, you'll have to purchase Disney Genie+ daily, starting at midnight EST. After this, you'll be able to start making your first Lightning Lane entrance selection at 7 a.m. EST daily as well. Remember that Disney Genie+ includes special Audio Tales and incredible Disney PhotoPass lenses in addition to Lightning Lane entrance selections for over 40 attractions and experiences, so I'm sure that your Disney days are going to be filled with magic!

    In order for you to access Disney Genie through the My Disney Experience mobile app and purchase Disney Genie+, please click on the three lines at bottom right corner of your screen. Here, you'll see a "My Genie Day" box at the top right corner. Click on it, and then scroll down until you see a purple banner that prompts you to "Get Disney Genie+ for Today". Click on that and follow all the steps until you've purchased the service for you and your party. Voilá! Now you're good to go!
