Tamera from West midlands Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Hi, I have already purchased a 14 day disney ticket, will it start from when I link it to the Disney app? Want to start booking and planning our trip but a bit worried!

Hi Tamera! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You will be on your way to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! Yay! You are going to love exploring all of the Incredible Summer events happening!

It is a great idea to link your Walt Disney World tickets to your My Disney Experience account now! By doing so, you'll be able to make FastPass+ selections for your upcoming trip. You can make up to three FastPass+ selections in advance, per person per day. I suggest doing this as soon as possible to have the most availability. I personally like to make my initial three selections earlier in the day, because once all three are used, I can make more selections on-the-go (one at a time, subject to availability) through the My Disney Experience mobile app or FastPass+ kiosks in the theme parks.

Your Walt Disney World tickets are activated the first time you enter any of the theme parks, so you don't have to worry about them being activated just by linking them to your account. Go ahead and link your tickets and start your planning!

Enjoy your magical vacation, Tamera! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
