    I have already purchased my basic tickets, hotel at pop century and made reservations. How do I add genie plus to my tickets? I am not seeing an option for that in my Disney exp app?

    Hiya Lisa,

    Welcome to planDisney! I am thrilled to be helping you answer your planning questions for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.

    So your Theme Park Tickets and Park Pass Reservations are booked, and you have your reservation at Disney’s Pop Century Resort; you have all the makings of a great Disney trip. Can you believe you will be at Walt Disney World in a few short days?! I’m so excited for you and know you will have a magical time.

    Now let’s see if I can’t grant your wish and help you get Disney’s Genie+ service set up for your trip. Just as a reminder, when you purchase Genie+ in advance of your trip, you must purchase it for the duration of your tickets. If you just want to buy Genie+ each park day and not for all of your park days, you can do so beginning at midnight of your park day.

    Now that the details have been discussed, to add Genie+ to your existing Theme Park tickets through the website:

    1. Log onto your My Disney Experience account.
    2. Doublecheck that your Theme Park tickets are linked to your account and that everyone in your planning party is linked through your Family and Friends list.
    3. Go to “My Plans” under the My Disney Experience menu.
    4. Scroll down to the “Tickets and Memory Maker” tab.
    5. Select the Theme Park ticket you would like to modify and select “Change Ticket.”
    6. Make sure that every ticket in your party is selected that you want to add Genie+ to and add Genie+.

    You can also add Genie+ through the My Disney Experience mobile app.

    1. Click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner of the app.
    2. Click the tile called “Tickets and Passes.”
    3. Scroll to the ticket you would like to add Genie+ to and select “Change Ticket.”
    4. Follow the on-screen steps to add Genie+.

    If, for some reason, you are unable to add Genie+ before your trip this week, or you would prefer to add it each day. The steps are just as easy:

    1. Open the My Disney Experience mobile app.
    2. Click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner of the app.
    3. Select “My Genie Day.”
    4. Scroll down to the ticket you would like to add Genie+ to and select “Get Disney Genie+ for Today.”

    I hope that Genie+ opens up a whole new world of opportunities for you on your upcoming trip!
