I already have park tickets. How do I add Genie+ to those existing tickets?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!

Disney Genie+ Service is a great addition to your Theme Park tickets because it helps add optional flexibility to your day. I’d be more than happy to walk you through the process. First, you want to make sure you have a My Disney Experience account and are signed into the My Disney Experience mobile app so you can unleash the Genie.

To start the Disney Genie+ process, select the three lines in the lower right-hand corner, then select the box titled “My Genie Day”. Next, in the top right corner you’ll want to select “Change Day” so you can choose the day you want to have Genie+. Only the days you have Theme Park admission should be highlighted within the app. Once the correct day is selected, you should see the date appear in the upper left-hand corner. Next select, “Get Disney Genie+ for Today” in the purple bar in the middle of the screen. Tap “Get Disney Genie+ Service” and all of your party with Theme Park tickets should be eligible. Once you pay, you’re all set! Remember to come back at 7:00 a.m. on the day(s) you have Disney Genie+ so you can select your party’s first Lightning Lane option.

Since you have your Theme Park tickets already, let’s go ahead and secure your Disney Park Pass reservations as well. This is a quick, but necessary step as you prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Within My Disney Experience, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom of the My Disney Experience mobile app (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Then, select “Make a Park Reservation”, then “Theme Park Tickets”. This will take you to the Theme Park Reservation page where you can select your Disney Park Pass reservations. If you want to see what Theme Park reservations are currently available, just check out the calendar!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in March. If you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
