I already have park passes and tickets but cannot figure out how to get park hopper passes.

    Hi there, Jon!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm excited to hEAR you've got your Theme Park Tickets and Disney Park Pass reservations all squared away for your upcoming October visit to Walt Disney World Resort. If you bought Standard Theme Park Tickets and would like to upgrade to add the Park Hopper Option, no worries, you can do that up to the day you'll be using the ticket.

With a standard ticket, you'll receive admission to one theme park per day for each day of the ticket. With an upgrade to add the Park Hopper Option, Guests may visit more than one park on the same day. (even all four parks if you choose to be that adventurous!) With four awesome theme parks to choose from (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney's Hollywood Studios), adding the Park Hopper Option not only upgrades your ticket but upgrades your FUN.

During Walt Disney World's phased reopening, and until further notice, there are specific guidelines to follow regarding Park Hopper tickets:

    • Guests will need a Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the first park they'd like to visit.
    • The Guest must physically enter that park by scanning a MagicBand, theme park ticket, or using Disney's MagicMobile service at the point of entry, before hopping to a second (or third, or fourth) theme park after 2pm.
    • At this time, a park reservation isn't required after the first park, but these requirements are subject to change.
    • The ability to "hop" to another park is subject to that park's capacity limitations.
You can upgrade your Standard Ticket to a Park Hopper Ticket by visiting Guest Relations before you enter the theme park, or you can add it yourself on the My Disney Experience mobile app. When you open the app, choose the menu option in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Select the "Tickets and Passes" icon, and you'll be taken to a list of the theme park tickets associated with your account. Select the ticket you'd like to upgrade, and you'll see an option to "Change Ticket". You'll then be able to change the Ticket Type and add the Park Hopper Option. Once you've paid for the upgrade, you're all ready to park hop!

I hope this helps, as you prepare for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Please come back with any questions you have before you arrive! We love sharing tips and advice from our Disney vacation experiences to help add a bit of extra pixie dust to your Walt Disney World getaway.
