Hi there, Andrea! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy, your Disneyland Resort vacation is just around the corner! Before you know it, you'll be walking down Main Street U.S.A. with your favorite Mickey-shaped treat, ready for your adventure to begin! I see that you'd like to extend your stay and well, I can't blame you! Making more magic is always a "yes" in my book! Let's see how I can help.
Andrea, extending your
Disneyland Resort Hotel will depend on availability. Since you're fairly close to your arrival date, this will likely be the first step in determining whether or not adding a night is possible. The best and easiest way to extend your hotel stay is by calling a friendly Cast Member at the
Hotel Reservations Line! These Cast Members are kind, knowledgeable, and like talking to a friend you've known for years. Have your confirmation number and last name on your reservation ready, so they can see which room type you booked at your hotel and find any available options for you.
Andrea, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you're able to add a night to your stay. If they are unable to extend that particular room, they may have another room available if you'd be open to switching for the last night. I've done this before when adding a few days to a recent visit. The exact room type I booked wasn't open, but a similar room with a different view was available, so I just called Bell Services to hold onto my luggage and enjoyed the
Downtown Disney District until the other room was ready for me!
I hope this helps answer your question today, Andrea! When I visit the Disneyland Resort, I'm always ready to discover new things. Recently, I discovered the delicious scoops at
Salt & Straw in the Downtown Disney District. Though the flavors were rather unusual, they were surprisingly yummy and I've been patiently waiting to head back for more! With an extra day of magic, maybe you'll have time to give it a try!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
