Hello India,
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with such an important question for us to help you with today.
India, you sure sound as if you've been busy planning toward what's sure to be truly a zip-a-dee-doo-dah vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
There are so many wonderful accommodations provided at
Walt Disney World Resort for Guests living with Disabilities, such as
Mobility Disabilities,
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) Rentals, and
Wheelchair Rentals, plus Disney has highlighted a featured provider for any length of stay rentals too.
India, I'm more than happy to share that Guests are more than welcome to utilise the convenience of their ECVs on the complimentary
Walt Disney World Resort transportation service, including onboard the
Disney Skyliner.
It might be helpful for you to understand that ECVs (including scooters, or any similar wheeled mobility devices) should meet the current
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and Regulations which state that wheeled mobility devices should be designed for a single rider, and not exceed 36" (92 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. And of course, for everyone's safety, all electrically powered ECVs must be able to operate at a slow walking pace!
Additionally, any ECV or wheeled mobility device with less than 3 wheels, or devices that are not able to maintain stability/balance when stopped, unpowered, or unoccupied are not permitted at Walt Disney World Resort.
With all this information in mind India, my best suggestion would be for you to double-check with Buena Vista Rentals if the deluxe scooter you've arranged to rent is appropriate for use at Walt Disney World Resort.
