    If i already have a package booked and paid for, when i get to the park and upgrade to an AP pass, is there a room discount that can be applied to current stay? If not, would it be better to upgrade on the last day to include the next year's trip?

    Hi Catherine! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for your visit! I’m so excited to hear that you’ll be traveling to Walt Disney World soon and that you’ll be converting your existing Theme Park Tickets to an Annual Pass! Annual Passholder status affords you many benefits, such as discounts on Disney Resort Hotel stays! When converting current Theme Park Tickets to an Annual Pass, you will need to make sure you do so before your final Ticket use day. Once that happens, your new Annual Pass will be active from the first day of this trip going forward! However, according to the Cast Member I checked with, discounts cannot be added during an actual vacation. However, there may be an alternate way to accomplish your goal! If you upgrade your existing ticket to an Annual Pass now, before your trip, you will likely be able to apply the discount before your trip! Simply call Existing Ticket Reservations to start the process!
