We already did online checkin last 11/07 how come it still said pending? Departure is 12/8

Hi there Carmencita, and welcome back aboard planDisney!

It looks like you're just about to set sail on your upcoming Disney Cruise Line voyage in December; I'll be doing the same thing myself on the beautiful Disney Wish! There's really something extra-special about being on board during the holidays and seeing the Very Merrytime decorations as you take your first steps onto your ship on Embarkation day.

I recently completed the Online Check-In process myself around the same time that you did, where I also experienced a "Pending Review" status for a little while before it was eventually cleared. In my experience, this typically means that for some reason it was unable to automatically read your required documents or verify the photos that you uploaded and requires a shoreside Cast Member to manually approve and push it through - which also tends to happen within the week leading up to the voyage. (The actual timing may vary depending on the folks assigned to complete these tasks for guests checking in online, and whether they require additional time to review their details or documentation.)

I've also observed that this sometimes happens when the photo of yourself isn't automatically approved either, despite the instructions that they include during the process. In the event that the uploaded file is unreadable or does not fit the photo guidelines, some folks and families may need to retake their photo with a Cast Member at the Port Terminal as they arrive and provide their documentation in person. Either way, I reached out to the Disney Cruise Line Guest Services team who let me know that in most cases guests don't need to worry, as most Pending statuses are resolved before the day they board.

I hope this helps ease any worries you might have as you start packing for your ocean adventures Carmencita! Don't forget to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to become familiar with it before it is populated with everything you need to know once you're on board, and feel free to float any more questions you might have by us here at planDisney ahead of your voyage.

Here's to hot and sunny Holidays on the High seas!
