I already have one park per day tickets for four adults and we have a 14 month old child. Can we add the genie+ service to those tickets at this point in time the reservations are for September 28 and 29. Would the genie plus service be advisable?

Hi Michael! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

If you didn't select Disney Genie+ Service at the time of your standard admission ticket purchase, you can't add it to them now, but you can add it once you've scanned into the parks each day. It's a very simple process, which I've done myself several times. I can walk you through how to do this.

First, before you arrive be sure to download the Disneyland mobile app. This will serve as your ticket, allow you to book your Lightning Lane Entrance return times, and allow you to scan into Lightning Lane Entrances. You can play around with the app before your trip to familiarize yourself with it. It's a great tool that allows you to check attraction wait times, Mobile Order your meals, and more!

Once you've scanned into the park in the morning, go to the app's home page. Towards the top, you should see "Disney Genie+ Service." Click "Purchase" to begin your transaction. This will add the service to your ticket for the day, letting you select return times for popular attractions. It's that simple!

I do recommend this option, especially on short visits and with small children. It's extra hard to wait in a queue with little ones with you, and Genie+ lets you spend less time in line and more time focused on the magic. "it's a small world" in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park was the ride my little ones liked best as toddlers, and Genie+ allows you to schedule a return time for this popular iconic attraction. You can also utilize Genie+ with Rider Switch on attractions adults in your party wish to ride but aren't suitable for your child.

Your visit is right around the corner, and I'm sure you're excited to experience all Halloween Time has to offer at Disneyland Resort. Check out the Disney Parks Blog, the official source for all things related to the parks. They've got great information about the festive entertainment and treats you'll want to try during your trip. My must-do at this time of year are the spooky overlays on select attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. You're bound to find some things you know you don't want to miss too!

    Have a hauntingly good time.
