Hello, we have already made reservations at the Caribbean resort with water/pool view.Wondering now if it is worth the extra $300 or if we should down grade to a standard room?Is the view location really worth the extra money?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is very difficult to answer your questions as it all boils down to a matter of preference. I personally never pay extra for the water/pool view  because I would rather apply that money towards dining at one of the restaurants or on gifts. However if you and your family enjoy the pools, it may make sense to pay extra to be closer to them. Keep in mind that Disney's Caribbean Resort is a large resort and has nine pools on property. The biggest and most popular pool is the pirate themed pool located next to Old Port Royale, which is were you can also find the dining areas and the shops. The closest buildings to Old Port Royale are Martinique and Trinidad North. If you wish to stay close, you must request these buildings. Please note that while you can make requests, no guarantees are made. I would recommend that you also search the internet for  copy of this resort's map so that you can familiarize yourself with the property.

It has been a pleasure assisting you! Please feel free to send me any other question you may have!

    Happy Planning!
