If I have already made a reservation at a restaurant and I want to add the birthday cake to it, how would I go about doing that? After making the reservation there isn't an option to modify and add this to the reservation.

Hi Astra, and welcome to planDisney!

I have purchased cakes at Walt Disney World Resort on more than one occasion; in my experience, they were delicious and the perfect addition to our meal. Besides, who doesn’t love a good dessert after a yummy dinner at Walt Disney World Resort?

You have a few options when it comes to ordering a cake. If you want to order the cake ahead of time, you could cancel your current reservation and reschedule it to include the cake. This option will only work if availability exists, so that would not be my first choice. Another option would be to make an in-person order at the restaurant’s host podium at least four days before your reservation. This will work if you will arrive a few days before your reservation. You could also make a same-day request for your cake in person when you arrive at the restaurant. Please note that participating restaurants have a limited quantity of Mickey Mouse celebration cakes available for day-of orders.

Please return and let us know if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical time!
