    Hi, we have already made dining reservations for our trip in June. If we find that someone decides to join us on the trip at the last minute, are we able to add one person to our party when checking in at the restaurant?

    Thanks for visiting us here, at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so excited to hEAR that you are already booking your dining reservations! 

    My family and I truly enjoy dining at Walt Disney World Resort! I honestly think it was the Disney Dining Plan that convinced my husband why staying at a Disney Resort Hotel is a must! When it comes to booking a dining reservation, it is best to have the entire party reserved under the reservation prior to arriving at the restaurant. Dining Reservations fill up very quickly, so even if it’s just one more person being added, there is no guarantee there will be room for that Guest! If that one person, who may join you last minute, is unable to make it just let the restaurant know when you arrive that your party is one Guest short. The restaurant will then make the needed accommodations for your party. It is much easier to be missing one then trying to add one on the spot! 

    I recommend modifying your existing reservation to include your potential addition as soon as possible. You can do this by calling the dining team at (407) WDW-DINE.
