Hi, I already made a booking without realizing that the park capacity will be limited. We'll be there from Mar 19-20 and is there a way we could get the Magic Kingdom ticket. My 3 year old was so looking forward to it and now it'll be ruined.

Hi, Priya! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm so sorry you're having trouble planning a visit to the Magic Kingdom Park this weekend. This time of year is often very busy since the kids are out of school and families are flocking to Florida for Spring Break. Now that all Guests need to make Disney Park Pass reservations before heading to the Theme Parks, these busy times are a little more challenging. I've been checking the Availability Calendar for the last several days myself, and it's definitely been hard to find any reservations right now.

If your little one has dreams of seeing Cinderella Castle, giggling at Winnie the Pooh, and flying with Dumbo, your best solution might be to reschedule for another time. It's possible that other Guests' plans may change at the last minute and a Disney Park Pass reservation may open up, but I'd hate for your family to miss out if the availability just isn't there. Taking a quick check of the calendar, I can already see that things are looking much better after Easter. I'm not sure what kind of plans you've already made, but Disney will generally allow you to make changes if you need to. It sounds like you might have a Disney Resort hotel reservation and are still trying to buy tickets. If that's the case, I'd give Disney's Guest Services a call and see if you can reschedule your Resort hotel reservation for another time, and then buy your tickets for those dates. If you have already bought tickets as well, you can hold on to them for later. Then, as soon as you've changed your hotel reservation, go ahead and make your Disney Park Pass reservations right away. That way, you can rest assured that your little Mouseketeer's dreams of visiting the Magic Kingdom will come true.

Priya, while you're making those plans, check out Disney's guide for parents of preschoolers and little ones. It's full of ideas and suggestions to help Mickey's youngest Guests discover all the magic of Walt Disney World.

I'm wishing on a star that you're able to find the perfect time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, Priya. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
