It's a whole new world with the addition of
MagicBand+ at the
Disneyland Resort. I love that you can enter the Theme Parks, check-in for
Lightning Lane Entrances, and link your
Disney PhotoPass photos all with this device.
Regarding your question, it sounds like you have successfully linked your MagicBand+ but are having trouble assigning them. I would like to share some troubleshooting tips found on the
MagicBand+ Support webpage to help you resolve this issue:
- You can try to Power On and Off to Reset. You will press and hold the button on the back of the band for about 6 seconds, until it buzzes twice, to power the device off. If the power-off is successful, the LED light will turn red and rotate once in reverse. Press and hold the button for one second to power it back on. If successful, you will see a solid green light.
- If that does not work, you can attempt a Factory Reset. Reset your band by pressing and holding the back button for about 15 seconds. After 3 haptic buzzes, your MagicBand+ will glow with rainbow colors. This indicates that your band is restarting. The lights will turn off and then flash green once the factory reset is complete.
Tip: I also thought you would find the how-to videos on the Magic Band+ Set Up webpage helpful--especially if you do a "Factory Reset" on your MagicBand+. You can follow the steps on the video to link and assign a ticket or pass.
Lastly, you can always seek help with your MagicBands while at the Disneyland Resort. I recommend heading to a
Guest Relations location and the friendly Cast Members will be happy to help!
