Greetings, Caroline,
That’s too bad about the mix-up. But you won’t need to be concerned about the mismatch of names associated with your
theme park tickets in the
Disneyland app. The names there are mostly for convenience to help remind you of who is using which ticket. Note that once a Guest uses a theme park ticket, that ticket may only be used by that same guest for any readmissions to the park on the same and later days the ticket is used.
When I have similar situations, I write the name of the person who is actually using the ticket on the printed ticket card. If I need to use the ticket from the mobile app, such as for making
Lightning Lane reservations with the
Disney Genie+ service, I can use the ticket numbers on the printed cards to help match up the tickets in the app with the correct Guests.
Tony’s Tip: If you are visiting Disney California Adventure Park between January 21, 2022 and February 13, 2022, you’re in for a treat. That is when you can take in the colors, music, and flavors of the
Lunar New Year celebration. 2022 is the year of the “Tigger!” I hope you’ll bounce on in for a happy and prosperous new year celebration.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Caroline. I hope you’ll come visit us again with any more questions you may have.
