If I already have my flight & hotel taken care of, I get there and I need to get tickets, where can I purchase them? Also, my three daughters have military ID's. Can they still get the military discount?

    Clarissa:

Every theme park and water park at Disney has a ticket window where you can purchase your park tickets. If you are staying on-site, you can also stop by the concierge desk of your resort to purchase your park tickets.

However, if your daughters all have military ID's and are either active in or retired from the military or are the spouse of active or retired personnel, they not only can purchase the Disney Military Promotional Ticket for themselves but also for you! And that is what I would suggest. The savings for the 4-Day Park ticket, not to mention the Water Parks & More option, is sizable. If you buy these tickets at the theme park ticket windows, you will have to pay sales tax. Our family purchases our tickets at our MWR office on base or at the Shades of Green resort on Disney World property. This allows us to purchase our park tickets tax free--and if you're buying multiple tickets, the cost savings can add up.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
