Hi there, Leslie. Welcome to planDisney. I see you’re interested in booking a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package for this August. Let’s see if we can get you some answers and options.
I hate to say it, but if you’ve already purchased tickets, there is no way to add a hotel reservation to make it a package and receive the same benefits as a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package. While we may not be able to fix that issue for you, let’s find some other options that could end up being just as magical.
The benefits you receive from booking a package are one entry to one eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction, access to the fitness centre and recreational facilities, 10% off at many participating dining and merchandise locations throughout the
Downtown Disney District, and a collectible pin and lanyard. Let’s see if other deals will be right for you.
While I can see that you’re arriving in August, I’m not sure how long you’re planning to stay. If you’re planning to stay awhile, there is
an awesome deal for guests booking at least four nights between May 22 and September 7, 2026! That could be you! With the money you’re saving, you can buy a
Lightning Lane Multipass for the whole family and have so much fun that you completely forget the phrase “Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package.”
If the package itself was important to you, save it for next time. Consider searching for a
Disney Good Neighbor Hotel to save some money so the next visit becomes a reality as soon as possible. They are a good value and have great amenities, which are easy to sort while searching for the hotel that’s right for you. I’d especially suggest checking the filter boxes that say “complimentary parking,” “Free Transportation to the Disneyland Resort,” and “Swimming Pool(s).”
Leslie, the good news is that you’re coming to
The Disneyland Resort during an excellent time of year! First of all, you’ll arrive just after the release of two exciting attraction updates -
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and
Soarin’ Across America! These two beloved attractions have new adventures to experience that you won’t want to miss. Also, if you’re staying a few days, you’ll be around as the parks get ready for the spookiest season of all,
Halloween Time, from August 21st to October 31st. It’s always fun to experience spooky decorations across the parks, characters dressed up in their Halloween costumes, and terrifyingly delicious treats.
You’re headed to the Happiest Place on Earth, Leslie. It’s going to be a magical experience, with or without a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package. I hope the rest of your planning goes smoothly, but if you need any other questions answered, come back to
planDisney, and my pals and I will be glad to help you out. Have a magical day!
