Already going to Disney in June, but I really want to go later to one of the holiday celebrations. I am not a big fan of Halloween, but Disney makes everything better. If you had to pick between MNSSHP and MVMCP for children 6 and 12, which would you pick?

    Hi Elizabeth!

I attended both Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in 2009 and completely fell in love with both events.

If you haven't experienced the magic of Disney World during the Winter Holidays yet then that is the Party I recommend!  I don't know of too many things that top standing on Main St. with snow falling on you, looking at Cinderella's Castle coated in these dreamy lights and surrounded by other people full of happiness and Holiday spirit.

The Parade was breathtaking with dancing gingerbread men, whirling elves in striped tights and all our favorite Disney Characters in their finest Holiday costumes. And as we walked through the Park there were stations set up with perfect hot chocolate and warm cookies...much too hard to resist!

I don't know how Disney did it, but they made a place that is already so full of magic into an absolute wonderland! The dates for the party were just announced this week, too, which means you can book tickets by calling 407-WDISNEY.
