Hi, i already buy tickets for MK but we are thinking of changing the parks for DHS can i change it? If i already bought it for mk?

Hello, Ana Daniela! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh my goodness, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! Before you know it, you'll be on the lookout for Rebel spies or taking a ride through Runamuck Park with Engineer Goofy at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Ana Daniela, when you purchase your tickets, you can use them to enter any of the four theme parks. You do need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the park you want to visit, but the tickets will be valid for whichever park you choose. If you've already made reservations for the Magic Kingdom Park and would like to change your plans to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios instead, I can help you do that. Here we goooo!

First, we want to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure Disney's Hollywood Studios has openings on the day you want to visit. And we're in luck, because the week of October 5 is shaded in green, meaning all parks have openings! Okay, on to the next step!

At the moment, Disney doesn't have a way to modify an existing Disney Park Pass reservation, so we'll need to cancel your current reservation and make a new one. To do that, hop over to the Walt Disney World website and click on the "My Disney Experience" logo in the menu bar. You should be prompted to sign in if you aren't already, and then you'll continue into the "Ana Daniela's Plans" page. Scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and look for the reservation you'd like to change. Click on "View Details," then "Cancel This Reservation," and follow the instructions to cancel your reservation at the Magic Kingdom Park.

Once your original reservation is canceled, head back over to the Disney Park Pass page to make a new reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios. Remember to select everyone in your party, then choose the date and park you want to visit, and hit confirm. Your new reservation should now show up under "My Plans" in your My Disney Experience account. And you're good to go!

I know there are several steps to follow, but it's pretty easy once you start working through them. If you run into any issues, please feel free to drop by with another question. Your planDisney pals are always here to help!

I hope you have a magical vacation, Ana Daniela! We'll see ya again real soon!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
