Hi Shane,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for the question!
You’re almost a month away from your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation! Has the excitement kicked in yet?
One of the simplest ways to purchase and link another ticket would be to do so through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Purchasing within the app will save you a few steps in the future. To start, from the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Next, select “Buy Tickets and Passes” then select “Theme Park Tickets”. From there, you’ll be able to select the type of ticket, number of days, ticket timeframe, and age range. Once all that information is entered, press “Continue”.
Next, you’ll be able to add your delivery method, contact information, and payment information. But before you do, you’ll be able to tell the app whose ticket this is. Under “Guest Info”, you’ll see a drop down menu where you can pick guests from your current Family and Friends List or “Add a New Guest” by entering their name. Once you “Add a New Guest”, when you finish the purchasing process, that new guest’s ticket will already be linked in the app!
Now that your new guest has a ticket and it’s linked in the My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll want to get their
Disney Park Pass reservations. Your party has probably already secured their reservations for the trip, so you’ll want to mirror the new guest’s Disney Park Passes after your own. You’ll also want to add this new guest to any
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or
dining reservations!
And just like that, you’ll be all set! I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in a few weeks.
If you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
