Greetings, Brandi, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for your question!
Disney's Port Orleans Resort-
Riverside is a beautiful 'rural Louisianna' themed property, within walking distance to the French Quarter resort and a Water Taxi ride away to
Disney Springs. Adding the second room is possible, but I cannot guarantee that the proximity of the two rooms will be close. Please contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936 to discuss your plans with a helpful Cast Member if you're set on staying at this Disney Resort hotel.
May I offer Disney's
Deluxe Villas accommodations which offer home-like settings and Studio Rooms for larger parties. One and two-bedroom Villas offer kitchens, living, and laundry areas within the units. Staying in such accommodations
may compare (depending on the time of year) to booking two standard rooms with the added, significant difference of more space and amenities within the room.
Brandi, take a look at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort which offers the spacious
Family Suites offering a single bedroom with a queen size bed, full bathroom with walk-in shower, a separate living area with a Double-Size Table Bed, Double-Size Sleeper Sofa, and second bathroom. These sleep up to 6 adults.
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort may interest you with their cozy ambiance in an American frontier setting teaming with wildlife, woodland trails and sleep up to 6 adults.
I love how there are Disney Resort accommodations for every preference and budgetary consideration.
Jacqueline
