October is one of my favorite times to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! There is so much to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort during that season. Some of my top recommendations are
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. An event I've loved for years thanks to its exclusive parades, shows, and, of course, all the candy! Disney does it right. I also can't forget the
International Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT. Be sure to come hungry, as there are plenty of delicious food and drink options to explore.
Staying at a
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel is a fantastic choice. Many offer their own shuttle system, and some, like yours, include
Early Theme Park Entry. Be sure to take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before they open to the general public. It's the perfect opportunity to experience popular attractions or snap photos with fewer people in the background.
As for
MagicBand+, they are no longer complimentary, but you can now purchase them at most retailers throughout Walt Disney World. I have a few myself, as there are so many cute options! MagicBand+ is a fun and convenient way to scan into the theme parks, access your
Lightning Lane passes, and use
MemoryMaker. If you'd prefer not to purchase a MagicBand+,
Disney MagicMobile Service is a great alternative that lets you use your phone for all those same features.
