You can absolutely treat yourself to a night at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during your two week stay at
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, but there are a few important details to keep in mind.
You’ll need to make a separate reservation for your night at the Grand Floridian since each Disney Resort hotel stay requires its own booking. This is commonly called a “split stay,” and many guests choose to do this to experience different resort atmospheres. Once you’ve booked your Grand Floridian night, you can link that reservation to your My Disney Experience account to keep all your plans organized in one place.
However, Disney’s system does not allow a guest to be officially checked into two different Disney Resorts on the same night. I spoke with a Cast Member and they stated this means you’ll need to check out of All-Star Music for that night in order to check in at the Grand Floridian. You won’t lose your All-Star Music reservation altogether, just that specific night will need to be removed or adjusted to avoid an overlap. The Cast Member highly suggested contacting

On the day you switch resorts, you can have
Bell Services transfer your luggage from All-Star Music to the Grand Floridian. You’ll drop your bags off before heading to the parks or your next activity, and they’ll be delivered to your new room later in the day.
