I have already booked and purchased our Resort/Tickets/ & Table Service DDP package for January 2025. If menu prices are raised, my DDP will be affected????

Hiya, Beverly, and a heartfelt 'Welcome Back' to planDisney!

Isn't it such a wonderful feeling to know that you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the calendar? A January visit is always one of my favorite ways to kick off a new year. In fact, I can think of no better way to set a magical tone for the upcoming year than a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I know you have a bit of a countdown ahead of you, so if you're looking to pass the time with a bit of pixie dust I encourage you to check out a recent planDisney Podcast mini episode in which my pal Diane and I discuss fun ways to make the whole family a part of your magical countdown. For now, let's pull up a chair and dig in to your question about one of my favorite topics - Disney dining!

Dining plans provide a great way to give Walt Disney World Resort vacations an all-inclusive feel. As you're aware, menu prices are subject to change at any time, so I reached out to a helpful Cast Member to find out if this would impact the price of your dining plan. He helpfully shared the following information:
    • At the time of booking, the price of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package was locked in and will not change even if Walt Disney World changes the pricing of dining plans.
    • While the pricing of your dining plan will not change between now and your visit, how you are able to use your dining plan at certain restaurants might. He recommended keeping an eye on the Disney Dining Plan webpage and the online menus of where you plan to dine before arrival for any updates, in addition to speaking to your server at each restaurant for the most up-to-date information about any current exceptions regarding the application of the dining plan at that specific location.
    • Should you choose to modify your vacation package between now and your visit, you could be responsible for any price changes to the dining plan that have occurred since your initial booking.
As a bonus tip: Although dining plans aren't ideal for the way my family prefers to dine during our magical vacations, my girl Jennifer never stops raving about them, so I have become well-versed in the details since their return. In addition to factual details, Jennifer knows all about how to maximize the value of your dining plan, so I encourage you to reach out to her before your visit for some incredible suggestions!

I hope this was helpful, Beverly! If you have any additional questions or are in need of suggestions as you plan, feel free to stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
