I have already booked our next cruise with DC in Dec 2014 to Eastern Caribbean. I wonder do I have sufficient time if my return flight from MCO at 1pm. Also, do I need to book ground transportation to MCO? Last time, we headed to DW after cruise...

    Hi Louise!

Your Very Merrytime Cruise out on the high seas will bring so much holiday spirit to you and your family! The Disney Cruise will be decked out gorgeous, so make sure you've got your festive garb on - for those lovely pictures that you'll be taking.  Having a 1pm flight out of MCO is do-able, but cutting it pretty close. Only because, sometimes, the traffic on the roads - as well as at the airport - can be somewhat unpredictable during the holiday season. Once you disembark, usually between 9am-10am, you collect all your luggage and family members, and lead them to your chosen method of transportation from the Port. It is very convenient to arrange for Disney's Ground Transportation, since they can arrange to take you directly from Port Canaveral to the MCO Airport. Once you collect your luggage, just follow the cast member who will be watching out for you at the exits, to lead you to the next bus leaving for the MCO airport. You'll need to allow at least an hour to get to the MCO airport. Once you get to the airport, then the security lines after you check-in can be a challenge due to the usual long lines.

If you'd like to add Disney Cruise ground transportation to your reservation, you can easily call your travel agent or the DCL Travel Desk at 1-800-951-3532. If you are able to secure a later flight that afternoon, then you'll have a leisurely morning. You'll be able to enjoy your sit-down breakfast onboard, and spend some time leisurely saying 'Bye' to Captain Mickey and his crew. Tears are optional at this time, by the way  :-). Your restaurant will be the same place you had dinner on your last night. You will have a 6:45am breakfast if you are early seating, otherwise, breakfast is at 8am. Just in case you really have to catch the 1pm flight, you can choose to grab a quick breakfast at the breakfast buffet as well. You can also bring your luggage with you off the ship as an option.
