Hey there, Susie! Welcome to planDisney. We are so excited to hEAR you have a trip coming up to the Happiest Place on Earth very soon!
Susie, the good news is a
ticket upgrade is possible, to add the Park Hopper option to your One Park Per Day ticket. However, there needs to be reservation availability for the Park Hopper ticket. I just checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and currently your arrival date of February 25 does not show reservations available. My suggestion is, once you arrive at the parks that day, make a quick stop at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth and inquire about the option to upgrade to a Park Hopper that day in case reservation availability has popped up. Other Guests’ plans may change and hence reservations can become available at the last minute.
While we are talking about planning for your trip, I’d love to make a couple of additional suggestions. If you haven’t already, download the
Disneyland mobile app as you’ll find lots of features in the app that will make your visit smoother. Through the app, you can add
Disney Genie+ to your day after you have entered the theme parks, which gives you access to
Lightning Lanes for most major attractions, saving hours of time spent in queues. This is something we budget for in our family trips to maximize what we experience in a day. You may also find the
Mobile Ordering feature handy, to have snacks and meals waiting for you during an arrival window of your choice. My family and I often order snacks nearby while waiting for an attraction, and once we exit, we can quickly pick up our snacks without waiting in a long line.
The magic awaits, Susie. I’m sending you a pinch of pixie dust for the Park Hopper option to become available for your trip!
