Hi, Marci!
It is never too early to start planning your reservations for a trip to Walt Disney World!
While there may be some specifics missing this early out (i.e. park hours are subject to change; innovative additions to areas such as the New Fantasyland expansion as yet to be announced; revised menus, subject to change) you can book many reservations now, such as your WDW Resort reservation. Then, as you get closer to your reservation, you can make additional bookings such as dining, which can be made up to 180 days in advance of check-in.
Do a little research to see what past years have included during that time of year, such as
Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If this is something you'd like to experience, then book accordingly. If not, avoid that park in your plans. :-)
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like; we are all here to help Guests get the most magic out of their stay at Walt Disney World. The more you ask, the happier we are, so ask away! :-)
