Hi Nicole! Welcome to planDisney. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here!
I am glad to hear you have already made your
Disney Park Pass reservations. At this time all Guests ages 3 and up will need both a Disney Park Pass and valid admission in order to enter a theme park.
I can understand that you might like to adjust your plans. Currently, there is not an option for ticket holders to modify their Disney Park Pass reservations. If you would like to change your reservation from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to
Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will first need to cancel your Disney Park Pass for that day and then make a new reservation. I
strongly caution you to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar prior to canceling your original reservation. Theme park reservations are limited, and I know some upcoming dates are currently showing no availability for Disney's Hollywood Studios.
If you decide to keep your Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the good news is because you have a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option you'll be able to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios after 2:00 pm when park hopping hours begin. You'll only need a reservation for the first park you enter each day; no reservations are necessary to hop to another park.
You might wish to consider purchasing
Disney Genie+ service -- it works really well with park hopping. You can reserve
Lightning Lane access for attractions at the park you plan to hop to -- the system will automatically assign you a time after 2:00 pm for an attraction at a park other than the one for which you hold a reservation. Additional reservations may be made every 2 hours beginning 2 hours after park opening time. By the time you hop to your next park, you could already have several Lightning Lane attractions lined up -- making for very efficient evening touring!
Nicole, I am wishing you a wonderful vacation during
The World's Most Magical Celebration! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We are always happy to help.
