Hey there, Mallory. Welcome to planDisney, the happiest corner of the internet. Food is one of the first things that I'm thinking about when planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. There are so many options for everyone, so let's bite into your question.
Inclusivity is one of the many things that I love about Disneyland. The Disneyland team does everything they can to ensure that everyone's visit is safe and comfortable. When it comes to
accommodating food allergies and special dietary requests, I recommend starting by looking at the
dining options and then filtering by your specific needs. There are several locations throughout the resort that offer vegetarian options to avoid red meat.
I also recommend reaching out to the
Special Diets team for assistance with navigating the dining process with your restrictions. They will also be able to share if there are options that are suitable for you in the concierge lounges for each of the hotels. Before ordering your food, it's also important to also speak with a Cast Member about your allergy request. They do everything they can and take steps to prevent cross-contact. However, they unfortunately cannot guarantee that any item is completely free of allergens.
Keep in mind that you can also
bring your own food into the theme parks if that makes you feel most comfortable. Just make sure that anything you bring is not in a glass container and does not require storing, preparing, cooking or reheating.
Mallory, I hope that the information I've shared has been helpful and gives you a plan for the next steps that you can take. Please visit us again with any other questions you might have before your visit. Here's wishing you a magical visit making core memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!
