Hi Kabrina,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I absolutely love visiting
Walt Disney World with preschoolers! There is so much for you to do with a 4-year-old at Walt Disney World. The web page that I linked will give you some great tips for planning a vacation with a preschooler. Let me share some experiences that I had when taking my own daughter to Walt Disney World when she was a preschooler.
First, there are attractions at every Disney theme park appropriate for little ones. While I do not have space here to tell you about all of them, let me focus on Disney's Animal Kingdom. My daughter loved a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris, where she would delight in seeing animals such as elephants and giraffes. She also always wanted to ride on the Wildlife Express Train out to Rafiki's Planet Watch, where she enjoyed interacting with animals at Affection Section - she always asked to "brush goats" after she was able to use brushes on the animals there.
There are also many opportunities for young ones to meet and interact with characters if they show an interest in characters. One great way to do this is with
Walt Disney World character meals, where you get to enjoy a delicious meal while interacting with characters, which means that you do not have to wait in line to meet them! A couple of my favorites for little ones are Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where children sing and dance with Disney Junior characters, and The Crystal Palace, a lovely restaurant in Magic Kingdom where children can meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kabrina. There is so much more for a preschooler to do at Walt Disney World as well! Please do write back if we can assist you further in planning your magical vacation.
