Do alot of people dress up for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? I am taking my children this year and i didn't want to look ridiculous if i joined in on the fun. Thanks,

    Hi Lexie,

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is my favorite event at the Magic Kingdom & you & your children will LOVE it!  Its March & I still have the CD in my car :-D

Well . . . if adults dressing up for this event, look ridiculous then color me guilty! I have a great time dressing up & my boys get a kick out of me dressing up with them.

You will find that lots of adults dress up & others don't so you will be comfortable either way. Some Guests create elaborate costumes so awesome that you'd swear they were Cast Members. Last year I saw a guy dressed up like a Vinylmation - unbelievable! Although, they do ask that you don't wear masks that completely cover your face. There was one lady in ECV that was made up like a Jungle Cruise boat and she was the skipper - totally rockin'!

I think there were some adults who didn't dress up that ended up having costume envy and wished they had joined in the fun. So put on your creativity cap & come up with something clever. You could even have a group theme.

Be sure you don't miss Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade - it is fantastic! Get there a few minutes early, you won't want to miss the Headless Horseman that comes through before the parade.  I'm so excited just answering your question.  Let me know if you have more questions about this spooktacular event.

Wishing you many magical Halloween memories :-) Allison
