I (29), along with my mother and niece (7) will be traveling to WDW next week on a tight budget. We are on the deluxe dining plan and have already set up some great ADRs and the MNSSHP. What else is a can't miss that my niece should experience at low cost?

Hi LaToya!  It sounds like you have a great vacation planned for the family!

Perhaps you can plan a day or half a day over at Downtown Disney.  You can purchase tickets for a ride on the big helium balloon ride where the views are unbelievable.  It is fun to see the parks from 400 feet up!  You can also walk through the many shops and often there is some sort of entertainment on the big stage.  She can ride the carrousel and for a fun lunch stop in at the new T-Rex restaurant or the Rainforest Cafe.

You can also rent some of the small water sprite boats at any resort on the water or Downtown Disney.  For a fun afternoon head over to Fort Wilderness which you can reach by boat from the Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, or the Magic Kingdom.  Here you can tour the stables where all the wonderful Disney horses call home, take a pony ride, or even a carriage ride.  There are nightly sing-a-long campfires here and many other resorts so be sure and check your resort events when you check-in.

No matter what you do I am sure your niece will find this a most memorable and magical vacation!
