Hiya Robin,
Welcome back to planDisney! Now, it is true that there is never a bad time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, but I have come to really love visiting in the winter.
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is one of my favorite festivals, so I always make a point of visiting when it is up and running. Also, the weather tends to be a little warmer than it is in Texas, so it feels even more magical.
Speaking of magical, let’s talk dining plans. The price of
dining plans are subject to change but currently the prices of the Disney Dining Plan (which includes 1 table service, one quick service, and one snack per night) is a little less than $99 per night before taxes a person and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan (which includes two quick-service meals and one snack) is a little less than $61 per night before taxes. While price is definitely a great way to decide which plan to choose, I also recommend considering where you want to dine and your family’s preferences. My family always plans time in our itinerary for table-service dining more than short stops for quick service (we use it as our break from the theme parks), so even though the quick-service dining plan is cheaper, we always lean towards picking up the Disney Dining Plan.
I hope this was helpful, Robin. Before I let you go, are you planning to travel with young Mouseketeers? If so, don’t forget that in 2026, you can get a
free dining plan for Mouseketeers ages 3-9 when you get a dining plan for an adult ages 10 and up! If you need anything else, please come back and see us. We would be happy to help you decide where to dine and all the other magical aspects of your itinerary.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
