Aloha I am visiting DL the first week of June...I have a heart condition that does not allow me to walk very far, I'm wondering if I should bring my own wheelchair or wait till I arrive to rent yours???? Is the entrance far from the parking???

    Hi, Kehau!

Thanks for visiting me again with your Disneyland Resort vacation question. I hope you’re getting excited about all the magic that awaits you at The Happiest Place on Earth!

The Disneyland Resort offers a limited number of wheelchair and Electronic Convenience Vehicle (ECV) rentals for use in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on a first-come, first-served basis for Guest facing mobility or endurance challenges. However, these rented wheelchairs and ECVs are not permitted in the Downtown Disney District or hotels, so I recommend you bring your own wheelchair if you plan to do lots of walking throughout the entire resort. It can also be a substantial walk from the parking lots and structure to the tram and from the tram to the main entrance where rentals are distributed.

I hope this helps, Kehau. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have as your pixie-dusted planning continues!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
