Aloha, Amanda! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with such a great vacation planning question. The only things I love chatting about as much as Disney are Disney cocktails!
Amanda, before you know it, you'll be arriving at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, ready to begin your magical Hawaiian rollercoaster ride! I'm planning my first visit to Aulani right now, and I find myself daydreaming about my first steps into that gorgeous, grand lobby, the warm breeze on my face, the sounds of ukulele music and waves lapping the shoreline, and that first sip of a Mai Tai. Ahhh. That sounds like a magical paradise for sure! That first sip of that first cocktail on arrival day is how you know ... You are on vacation. So, let's chat about activating your vacation mode!
I LOVE a great vacation cocktail, and I have spent much of my planning time excitedly perusing the dining options and sample menus at Aulani. So, you have come to the right place, my friend! While prices are subject to change, while exploring the current Aulani sample menus, I discovered that
Makahiki - The Bounty of the Islands,
Off the Hook lounge,
The 'Olelo Room, and the
Wailana Pool Bar serve wine from $13-36 per glass, beer from $7-9 per glass and amazing frozen and on-the-rocks cocktails priced at $15 each. You can also grab a White Claw from
Little 'Ophini's - Beachside Kiosk for $6. The cocktails around the Resort all look SO delicious, but the Island Bliss is at the top of my list! Be sure to ask your server to have your cocktail served in a pineapple! Did you even go to Hawaii if you didn't sip a beverage from a pineapple?! Aloooooha!
As far as the non-alcoholic beverages go, the current price of the delicious Non-Alcoholic Specialty drinks is $9, Hawaiian Iced Tea is $3, and soft drinks and bottled waters are $5. The
Wailana Coffee Bar also has coffee beverages and teas (both hot and iced) from $5-8. I seriously cannot wait to try the Kona coffee. Yum! Is it vacation time yet??
Since these prices are from sample menus around the Resort and prices are subject to change, I suggest giving yourself a little wiggle room in your budget in case any prices increase or in case you just
have to have that extra Mai Tai or two. You
are on vacation, after all!
Amanda, I hope this was helpful, and I hope you have THE most magical adventure in paradise. I hope it's unforgettable and full of delicious drinks out of pineapples! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have.
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
