Aloha I need help in planning my family first trip to Disney World. Family 14-16..flights, hotel stays, dining, parks, etc.

Aloha, Calmentina! Planning a trip with a large family at Walt Disney World Resort can feel like a list of chores that might even drain Cinderella. Have courage, there are fairy godmothers who can wave their wands and make the dreams in your heart come true.

With so many tasks, I recommend working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. You can find many online: look for the Authorized Disney Vacation Planner logo to know you are working with someone who has earned their magic wand, achieving this special certification of their proven Disney knowledge and experience helping families like yours. You can also work with Walt Disney World Resort directly for your room and tickets, but a travel agent is best to get your airline tickets and transportation to and from the airport.

    • Your castle: A travel agent can work with you to see if a Walt Disney World three-bedroom grand villa, several studio suites, or a combination of accommodations are best suited for your vacation dreams
    • Your coach: A travel agent can find the flights that will get you to the ball on time with airplane tickets and even arrangements for ground transportation to and from the airport.
    • Your Glass Slipper: Your travel agent can book your theme park tickets, letting the parks know to open the gates; you are the one they have been waiting to welcome.
These services are generally provided by your travel agent at no fee to you. Some agencies offer extra magic, usually at a cost, such as booking dining reservations. A family member had a travel agent help her like this and said it made her feel like a princess: everything was taken care of for her.

A good travel agent will know what to ask to help you make decisions, get to know your preferences to make recommendations and share their best advice. In addition to reservations, you may want to become familiar with a few of the highlights of this magical kingdom.

    • Guests of Walt Disney World Resorts have access to Early Entry Hours, getting into the parks before anyone else in the morning. Deluxe resorts also have Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on certain nights.
    • MagicBand+ puts access to your Walt Disney World hotel room, paying for snacks and souvenirs, and entry into the parks all on your wrist. You can also use MagicMobile on your cell phone.
    • My Disney Experience App has everything! On the app, you can find your resort reservation, bus times from your resort to the parks, mobile orders at some restaurants, mobile check-out in some shops, attraction wait times, park maps, walking directions, and Genie+, just to name a few.
I hope the dreams that you wish come true.

    Keep on believing!
    Jana
