Aloha! My husband works for DOD and purchased Disney tickets for my family and I using his CAC card. Is my husband required to show his CAC card upon entry to the Disney parks?

Aloha, Cindy! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your question for us.

I'm so excited to hear that you will be heading to The Happiest Place on Earth soon! The next few months are some of the most magical times to visit in my opinion. If your husband is DOD and was able to purchase tickets on base, they most likely are the standard theme park tickets that were slightly discounted from the military base ticket office. These do not have a limit on how many can be purchased or who uses them. They also do not require anyone to show their military/DOD ID for entry into the parks. The only military ticket that requires that you show ID would be the Disney Military Promotional Tickets for active and retired military members.

The parks will be decked with holiday decor when you arrive. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as your visit gets closer. There you will see all the latest updates on what will be happening in the parks and this is also where you will find the Foodie Guide that lists all of the limited-time food and beverage options. I love making a list of the things I want to try before I head to the parks so I don't forget!

Cindy, thanks so much for dropping by. We are here for any other questions you might have!
