Aloha, Cheryl!
Mahalo for sailing by planDisney with your excellent question. How exciting that your magical sailing is just around the riverbend. I bet you can't wait for all the vitamin sea coming your way on your relaxing vacation with your 'ohana.
I called
Disney Vacation Club Member Services and
Disney Cruise Line for you, Cheryl, and there is not a separate check-in for DVC at the San Diego port at this time. About 30 days prior to your sail date, online check-in will open. You can complete this check-in either on the Disney Cruise Line website or on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. At this time, Cheryl, you can select your port arrival time to expedite your entry onto the ship. You have up to
one day before sailing to complete your check-in and select your port arrival time.
Please note that if you do not check-in and select a port arrival time prior to your sailing date, you may be delayed at the port until all of the Guests with arrival times are boarded. But Hakuna Matata! It means no worries. By checking in online or on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, you don't have to worry about splitting up your party on your arrival to the port, as long as you all have the same arrival time.
Once you board your Disney ship, you can stop by the
Disney Vacation Club desk to find out about pixie-dusted events and goodies like the cruise kickoff party, which is my favorite. Also, be sure to check our
Member Benefits page for savings and discounts exclusive to eligible Disney Vacation Club Members. It's one of my favorite ways to maximize the magic on our vacation and get a few more gadgets and gizmos to bring home as souvenirs.
I wish you a magical experience on your Disney Cruise Line cruise to the great wide somewhere, and I hope it is full of wonderful memories. If you have any further DVC or vacation planning questions, I'll be right here for you, Cheryl! Feel free to stop by any time and I'll be glad to help you.
Bon Voyage,
Keri
