Aloha, We are cruising to Hawaii next September 2015. Since there is the overnight port stay in Honolulu, we wonder if there will be a Port Adventure to Aulani, other than the 'Honolulu by Private Vehicle' adventure option? As DVC members, we so want to

    Aloha, Vinette!

Mahalo for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and logging in a question about my family's home state. I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be visiting the islands on board the Disney Magic in September 2015. This itinerary has been long awaited and I can't wait to share the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands with everyone.

At this time, there is no specific port adventure to visit Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa in beautiful Ko'Olina. It sounds like you are on the September 7th sailing. Have you considered possibly spending a post-cruise night stay at Aulani? As a DVC member, you could opt to stay a night or 2... or even more, depending on your points and room availability. Don't you just love the flexibility of being DVC members? Of all the Disney Resorts that my family has visited, I consider Aulani as one of the most beautiful properties to stay at. You and your family will love it there - I think you may not want to leave too soon since you'll need to spend a whole day just floating around the Waikolohe Stream; and then spend some time across the way at Ko'Olina lagoon, the best beach lagoon for families (it ranks up there with Castaway Cay). You've also got to stay the night to hear fireside storytelling and then enjoy the Starlit Hui show. After that 1st day, you might want to wake up early and possibly do some yoga or a simply take a stroll around the Ko'Olina lagoon, followed by snorkeling at Rainbow Reef. And don't get me started about the Spa :-).

I hope you can check out some possibilities of extra time while in Honolulu. There's lots to see and do and I'd love to help and answer any additional questions you may have, as you continue to plan for your upcoming Disney Cruise (and possibly Aulani) vacation.

    Hang loose!
