Aloha, we will be attending our first Halloween party at Disneyland in October. What are the restrictions on masks for the children?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Virginia!

Boo to You, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can't wait for your family to attend the all new Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park this fall. Halloween Time has almost begun at the Disneyland Resort, and I just can't wait to experience the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of this season!

One of my favorite parts about Halloween parties at Disney theme parks is the ability to dress for the holiday, even as an adult. You can check out specific costume guidelines on the Oogie Boogie Bash page, but I will give you a summary of guidelines when it comes to wearing masks. For Guests ages 13 and under it states that masks may be worn "as long as the entire face isn't covered and eyes are visible." Guests ages 14 and older are not permitted to wear masks of any kind. I hope this helps!

Kids are going to love trick-or-treating, meeting spooktacular characters, and seeing all-new entertainment like Mickey's Trick & Treat and DescenDANCE. Don't forget your party ticket will also grant you early entry 3 to 4 hours prior to party time depending on the date of your ticket.

Please return if you have any other questions, and beware of hitchhiking ghosts!
