I have an almost 5 yr old boy & 3 1/2 girl. Where is a good place stay & be able to see the fireworks from your hotel room. Can you see them from the animal kingdom lodge at all? Going Feb 2012.

    Hi Christi,

If viewing fireworks is on the top of your Disney "to-do" list, I highly recommend that you check out the resorts on the monorail line in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World.  Your best bet would be to book a room at either Disney's Contemporary Resort or its nearby neighbor, Bay Lake Tower.  If you reserve a room with a theme park view at either of these buildings, you'll have a spectacular view of Wishes above Cinderella Castle.  Even today, I remember watching the fireworks with my grandmother from the balcony of one of these rooms thirty-five years ago so I can guarantee that an experience like this will give your son and daughter memories to last a lifetime.

Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort also offer rooms with views of Cinderella Castle and the fireworks that appear nightly above it.  Again, be sure to book a room with a theme park view if you wish to view them from your own private balcony.

You cannot see fireworks from the guest rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  For the safety and security of the animals that inhabit the nearby theme park, there are no fireworks displays near this resort.

Good luck deciding where to stay on your upcoming vacation.  Let us know if you need any additional assistance.  We'd be happy to help.
