I have a 2 (almost 3) year old son, he is very close to if not already 40 inches tall. How do they determine if a child is tall enough to ride some of the rides (like Big "Funger" Mountain...as he calls it)?

At the entrance to each height restricted ride, a cast member has, for a lack of better words, a large upside down L.  S/he will have your son stand under the "L" and if his head touches the horizontal bar, he will be good to go on Big "Funger" (that is way too cute!).
