Almost time for us to start making dining reservations. Would like to reserve Be Our Guest but have a picky 18 year old. Are they accommodating for changes? ex. Would we be able to get a kid appetizer for adult or switch sides for a side a fries?

    Hi Brenda,

How exciting that your time for making dining reservations is almost here!  You know what that means?  It means you are one step closer to your Magical Walt Disney World vacation!  You will be vacationing while one of my favorite festivals is going on too.   If you have the chance, I highly recommend checking out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.  This festival is one that my whole family can always agree upon.

Be Our Guest Restaurant is an amazing experience and I really hope you are able to get reservations!  As another "Brenda" with a picky teenage eater, I understand your dilemma when trying to find a place to dine that has a menu which will please the whole family.  In my experience, menu accommodations and substitutions are at the discretion of the Cast Members at each restaurant and are also based upon the items available at the restaurant.  I have also found that the Cast Members really do want all of their Guests to enjoy their dining experiences.  We have been offered "adult sized" portions of menu items listed on the kid's menu in the past.  Although nothing can be guaranteed, we have always experienced exceptional service and have had Cast Members go out of their way to see that everyone had an enjoyable experience.  My advice is to have your teenager discuss their options with the Cast Member and see what suggestions they offer.

I hope you have a Magical vacation!  And remember to try the Grey Stuff.  It's delicious!  Don't believe me?  Ask the dishes.

    See Ya Real Soon,
