Welcome back to planDisney, Karen! "Almost ready for our Disney Cruise" is my favorite way to start a sentence. I love the countdown feature on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, but my kids have asked me to wait until there are only 14 days left so they don't get too excited too soon with my daily countdown cheers.
From your question, it sounds like you were able to check in for the cruise and now have questions about the charging privileges settings. Although I am a huge fan of the app, this is one instance in which I would recommend using the
Disney Cruise Line website to review your check-in setup under "Already Booked." If everyone in your traveling party is set up with charging privileges as you would like for each of them, you are all set. If there are any issues and you want to change a setting and cannot online, Guest Services on board the ship will be able to assist you specifically with your account.
From my experience, lines for Guest Services are the longest the first and last days on the ship. I am an early riser and have stopped by at 8 am with no wait at all. I also learned on a recent cruise that you can chat with Guest Services from the app. So if you are up early but not ready to leave your stateroom - or while lounging by the pool - you can ask them for assistance with your account, just like if you were at their desk.
Once on board, you can also check charges to your stateroom on the app. Just look for "My Charges." I like being able to check mid-cruise, knowing I would not have to wait until the last day (with the long lines) were there any issues.
Now that I am thinking of purchases on board, have you heard
DinseyBand+ is available for cruises on Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, and Disney Magic? I cruised recently with a MagicBand+ I purchased for
Walt Disney World Resort. It was so convenient to access my stateroom and make purchases, all with the band on my wrist. There are Disney Cruise Line exclusive designs available to purchase before your cruise, and you can also find them aboard the ship.
I share your excitement in these last days before you hear that amazing "Welcome Aboard!" and get to wave at the port as your ship sails away.
Please come back to
planDisney if you have any other questions.
SEA 'ya real soon!
