    Almost all hotels on and off property are booked for the week of Sept.8,2013. Do you have any idea what is going on? We chose this week because it is usually the least crowded. We have our reservations for POFQ but can change if it's going to be too busy

    Hi Deborah! September is indeed one of the lower months of attendance to the Disney parks so it is a great time to come for a visit. It is likely you are finding the resorts booked during that time due to the Night of Joy Christian Music Festival held every year in the Magic Kingdom park. This will happen on September 7 and 8 this year. I would suggest you avoid that park during that time unless you are interested in the various music and musicians. The park will be extremely crowded on those two days. Of course some of the guests will arrive early or remain at Disney after the festival is over so room bookings might remain high for a few days. Knowing this you can certainly try to change your date but I feel the only issue for big crowds would be that weekend of the 7/8. Hope this helps you make a final decision on your vacation plans!
