We're almost at 180 days and getting ready to book dining. Please can you tell me if it is possible on DDP for one person to pay out of pocket and order sides instead if they're not very hungry?

    Welcome back Jill!
The 180 day mark, when we can finally make our dining reservations, is always a celebration day at our house. You must be getting very excited! One of the great things about the Disney Dining Plan is its flexibility. You can use multiple credits at one meal or no credits by paying out of pocket. We sometimes use your approach if we are planning on dining at a Signature dining experience as they require the use of two credits. By 'saving' credits by paying out of pocket we then have enough for those special meals.

If someone at your table doesn't want to use a dining credit that will be no problem at all.

    See ya real soon!

I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
