I've been bringing my kiddos to Disney World since they were babies, and I completely understand the importance of water safety. As a mom, the key to relaxation is knowing that your children are safe and sound, especially around the pool! Fortunately, as per
Disney policy, you are welcome to bring Coast Guard-approved life jackets and flotation devices to your resort pool. However, non-Coast Guard-approved flotation devices and pool noodles are prohibited. You should also avoid large rafts, since they can obstruct the lifeguard's view of the pool.
Theresa, I see that you're coming to The Most Magical Place on Earth all the way from sunny California! If you'd like to save some valuable space in those suitcases, you should know that all Disney World resort pools offer complimentary life jackets in a wide range of sizes. My family has never had a problem finding the perfect fit, and we love that we can save some suitcase space for all the magical merchandise we'll want to bring home!
Now, before I go, I want to remind you of a few more ways to stay cool in Disney World this summer!
