Hi, Diana!
Wow, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! I know you’re looking forward to all of the magic that awaits you.
I’m happy to hear that you’ve selected Disney’s Beach Club Resort. It’s a beautiful property in a prime location with a fabulous pool! While many rooms at the resort have sleeping configurations that include daybeds, not all of them do. Some rooms have just two queen size beds or one king size bed. If you are hoping for a room with a daybed, you may want to call ahead and ask a Cast Member to make a note of your request. Depending on the location of your room, the short walk to Epcot will take only about 5 to 10 minutes.
The sand-bottom pool at Stormalong Bay is truly spectacular and a must-do. There’s even a lazy river and elevated tanning deck, plus one of the highest hotel water slides at Walt Disney World Resort. The entire water play area covers about 3 acres, so it’s able to accommodate many Guests. However, if you find that it’s a bit too busy during peak afternoon hours or if you’d like a more peaceful experience, you can always escape to the Quiet Pool, which is open 24 hours a day.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort also offers boat service to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I love the sweet treats served at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, and the nearby BoardWalk area offers great dining, shopping and entertainment along Crescent Lake.
I hope this helps, Diana, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Please feel free to ask more questions as you put the finishing touches on your vacation.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
